We are looking for a Accountant to join our company with experience in accounting operations under RAS/IFRS principles, reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.
A successful Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports with accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.

Responsibilities
Ensures the integrity and completeness of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactionsPrepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.Maintains general ledgerManage accounting processes and bookkeepMaintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.Maintain relations with state authorities (ANAF, DGITL)Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditorsAssist with tax audits and other audits that may ariseDirect internal and external audits to ensure complianceCoordinate month-end and year-end close processPerform, review BS reconciliations and o monthly basisEnsure is up to date with any changes in policies, principles under RAS/IFRS and TaxEnsures any changes/updates to accounting systems are done properly and in due time (E-factura, SAF-T, etc)Annual inventory process owner and first leadQualifications
Proven experience as a accountant for min 4 yearsThorough knowledge of accounting proceduresUnderstanding Local Accounting Principles and Tax Familiarity with financial accounting statementsExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processHands-on experience with accounting software packages, experience with SagaAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables, sumifs, countifs etc, Word and PowerPointSelf-driven, results oriented, can-do attitude, ability to adapt to changesDemonstrated ability to think critically and analyticallyBS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant English is a must
