Responsibilities
Define and lead the overall branding and communications strategy for Coins.ph, ensuring a unified and compelling voice across all touchpointsOversee brand messaging and visual identity across platforms, ensuring consistency in tone, look, and feelManage content strategy, social media operations, and community engagement to drive awareness, trust, and user growthAct as a strategic partner to leadership, advising on positioning, media approach, and high-impact communications momentsLead all PR efforts: from building media relationships and securing earned media, to managing agency partners and crisis comms as neededDrive thought leadership initiatives by identifying speaking opportunities, content platforms, and executive visibility tacticsCollaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Legal, Partnerships, CX, HR) to align messaging and proactively uncover storytelling opportunitiesOversee the creation of high-quality content: press releases, media kits, op-eds, blog posts, brand guidelines, and moreTrack media coverage, analyze brand sentiment, and report on key communications KPIs and campaign impactMentor junior team members or contractors and manage external partners to ensure quality and consistencyStay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory issues impacting brand and communication strategiesRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related fieldMinimum 5–7 years of experience in brand management, strategic communications, or public relations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior roleExceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at both strategy and executionProven success in building or transforming a brand in a fast-paced, digital-first environmentDeep understanding of the media landscape and experience managing press relationshipsTrack record of leading integrated communications strategies across digital, media, and owned channelsStrong editorial instincts, project management skills, and stakeholder management experienceComfortable navigating a regulated, dynamic industry like fintech or crypto (experience in crypto is a plus)
